1862 Isle of Wight - Island registered mail: Very fine registered cover from Ryde Isle of Wight to Aberdeen. Prepaid with 1d rose-red and 6d pale lilac, both neatly tied '666' numerals with RYDE cds below for Feb 14th 1862 alongwith REGISTERED LONDON regd oval alongside (struck twice) and arrival backstamp on reverse.
1864 Entire London to Lima bearing two 1s green plate 1 tied London EC 90 cancels, sent p.Thama and oval blue CONDUCCION / DEL CARTERO / GRATIS and PANAMA DE 7 1863 double arc cancel in black alongside. Minor folds or bends, nice combination.
1864-79 1d rose-red mint complete assembly arranged by plate number order from 112 to 125 inclusive, mostly fine appearance, mounted mint, part original gum, one unused (no gum), and a few with gum tones, plate 114 is fine (Cat £325). Useful catalogue value. (14 stamps).
1864-79 1d rose-red plate 95 in an attractive and scarce block of four mint part o.g. lettered (AS-TB), high cat for blocks. SG 43.
1864-79 1d rose-red plate 99 in an attractive horizontal mint strip of three lettered (HN-NJ) with two outer stamps unmounted mint, mounted on centre stamp only, good centring, scarce trio. SG 43.
1865-67 Original assembly of 4d vermilion plates 9 to 11 mainly in pairs on paper with a variety of different numeral cancel incl 733, 509, 700, 195, 140, 5, 186, 139, 648, 754, includes a few singles, good cat value. (13 pairs, 13 singles, cat £3500).
1866 Plain env to Biggar with ld red PL 74 cancel good Too-Late London duplex Ja 26 66 with very fine C & G/R.P.O. in circle H/S in black below. Few creases & minor soils & London & Biggar B/S. Long closed tear on face away from stamp & cachet.
1867 5s rose plate a superb fine used example with corner barred oval only slightly centred downwards, superb perfs and condition, very nice for these, SG 126.
1868 Plain env to Peebles with 1d Red Pl 89 misperfed, cancel London duplex 20 No 68. At left fine C & C/ R.P.O in small circle Railway cachet & Peebles B/S Horiz crease overall goo condition and scarce.
1869 (21 Nov) Posted since 7 Last Night 131 Edinburgh cancel on cover sent locally with 1d star tied single cancel. Folded four ways otherwise nice example.

1874-75 Correspondence from London to Buenos Aires. Four covers each bearing 1s green plates 8, 9, 10, 11 tied London 96 duplex (2), London 87 duplex, and Liverpool 466 duplex. Being a business correspondence Brandt & Sons some with manuscript of h/s Via Southampton, or per Pacific Steamer via Liverpool / Montevideo, small faults and Liverpool is toned other cat £960+ on cover. Nice original lot.
