1877 (6 Mar) Entire London to Vienna bearing 3d rose pl.18 & 6d grey pl.15 tied incomplete numeral cancels sent registered with REGISTERED LETTER cds in red alongside. Nice combination for 9d rate.
1877 (7 Sept) Cover Pontypridd to Buenos Aires, Argentina, bearing 1s green plate 12 fine used cds and duplex. Fine used.
1879 (7 Aug) Tatty cover Kilmarnock to Buenos Ayres bearing 4d sage-green pl.16 tied good strike of 203 cancel, folded two ways and slightly grubby with variety of backstamps, SG 153 Cat £600 on cover.

One Penny QV head design (left facing portrait) in pencil 46mm x 54mm, with pencil annotation purchased from the collection of Maurice Burrus Feb 1959. Just after Burrus's death.
