NEWSPAPERS: 1870/1 'Le Courier de L'Ouest, Three complete newspapers, folded into 4 and annotated in french on pages; one bearing pair of 1c Napoleons' tied with Alencon cds's and revenue tax mark, another with 2c brown Napoleon with the same cds and finally one with same 2c brown tied with Le Breil- s-Merize cds. All are fine with dealers expertising marks and are ready for display. Need to be viewed carefully. Nice interesting lot (3).

Philatelic Documents: 1976 to 1986 A large collection in seven binders containing up to 78 different A4 sized embossed special page with each stamp affixed special cancel and proof of the issue, issued by the National Printing works for 8 weeks after each issue to contribute funds for the French Postal Museum, beautiful engraved pages, listed in SG runs incomplete from 1976 to 1986, must 100s of different with catalogue values from £4 each to £10+. 1933-64 Artist's Proofs waterfalls collection of 20 items typed up on album pages from different colonies including Reunion unfinished die proofs including missing value or tri coloured engraved then hand painted, Cameroun, Fr. Equatorial Africa, Upper Volta, large sunken die proofs pencil signed by the artist / engraver, some with blind embossing (only between 8 and 28 of each proof were produced after 1960), scarce and attractive thematic collection.
