AIRMAILS: Lufthansa first and special flight covers in eleven well filled binders annotated on leaves, must be approx 1000 different covers mainly Germany to Foreign destinations, but includes some foreign departure covers, all illustrated covers with stamps cancelled special postmarks, very neat and fine covers mainly 1956-1978 and 1990-1994. includes some earlier from 1937-1958. Extensive lot hard to replicate.
DOGS: Belgium 1957 Belgian Antarctic Expedition unmounted mint miniature sheet of sled dogs, very fine, SG MS 1620 Cat £225.
Explorers: 1978 25th Anniversary of First Ascent of Mount Everest set of 4 1978 Coronation tied special ASCENT OF EVEREST 1953-1978 cancels and multi signed by Tenzing Norgay, Doug Scott, Chris Bonington & John Hunt. Very fine.
