Robert Anderson Jardine, the Vicar who married EDVIII & Wallis Simpson in Paris, who then went on a tour of USA with the Reverend and his wife signing these souvenir covers, quite scarce now!

1940 Edward Duke of Windsor first visit to United States & 1941 Visit to Canada a superb collection of approx 42 printed covers to commemorate his first visit on 10th December 1940-41. During WWII the Duke was serving as the Governor of Bahamas and he travelled with the Duchess to Miami for her to receive dental treatment, hence the first visit as Duke to USA. Arranged with different USA stamps, a variety of cancellations and illustrated covers mainly unaddressed in two quality albums, good range of different stamps incl the 1941 Canada visit where the stamps produced were affixed to covers in combination with others incl Special Delivery issues. A most attractive lot, also some Tucks postcards of the Dukes house in France etc.
