Brook Hill Local Post: 1954-6 Three (philatelic) covers carried by the Brook Hill Farm service to post letters received after the local post office closed and then expedited to the nearest city post with a later acceptance time. Walter Brink the dairy farmer who initiated this service affixed small triangle labels includes two covers dated Dec 18 1954 from Genesee Depot Wisconsin to Poughkeepsie New York, forward from Oconomowoc. One signed Walter Brink, a third 1956 cover h/s FIRST DAY - THIRD ISSUE 10c on green, each tied cow monogram in circle in violet. Few bends, intr group. (3).

c1906-1913 United States Department of Agriculture INSPECTED MEAT tag No. G6921011, originally attached to inspected meat that had passed veterinarian inspection as fit for human consumption after the meat inspection act in 1906, printed James Wilson Secretary underneath, and patented 1863-1874 by Dennison's who produced these tags. Some faults on reverse, but remarkably survived in well above average condition.
