South West Africa: 1906 Very fine Feldpost card sent to Bremen with very fine GOBABIS DEUTSCH - SUDWEST AFRIKA CDS together with black negative KAIS. DEUTCHE POSTAGENTUR / GOBABIS Posthorn handstam applied for provisional postal use (primarily for official sealers or administrative use). Used during the period of the Herero and Namaqua War with a lack of postage stamps being available.
1953 70th Death Anniv. of Kral Marx set of four Perf & Imperf Miniature sheets neatly cancelled by favour with special illustrated postmarks. SG MS 111a, MS 111c. High cat value.
