France - 1969 Plane crash after take off from Paris to Lormont by Paris Poitiers Bordeaux airline, catching fire with only 300 mail items salvaged from the wreck. Three charred envelopes with COURRIER ACCIDENTE / en COURS de TRANSPORT, two line handstamps in red or black. One window envelope dated the same without handstamp. (3 crash covers).

c1906-1913 United States Department of Agriculture INSPECTED MEAT tag No. G6921011, originally attached to inspected meat that had passed veterinarian inspection as fit for human consumption after the meat inspection act in 1906, printed James Wilson Secretary underneath, and patented 1863-1874 by Dennison's who produced these tags. Some faults on reverse, but remarkably survived in well above average condition.
