1884 (11 Feb) Cover from Queen Victoria to Bishops Storford bearing 1d lilac tied by rare London hooded cancel V.R. / 11 FB 84 / D cancel. Signed bottom left Th. Q. (The Queen). Queen Victoria gave up her free mail privilege in 1840 after the Penny postage system as a goodwill gesture. She continued to sign the bottom left of all her letters.
