1919 (29 Jan) First Flight Bank of Canada env bearing 1d carmine WAR TAX pair tied NASSAU cds with two line violet h/s BY AIR SERVICE / NASSAU TO MIAMI, addr to Miami being the first flight on 30th Jan flown over the 160 mile stretch by two Navy Curtiss flying boats, only 600 pieces of mail were carried on the inaugural flight. Scarce early flight cover.
