1768 (10 Sept), Entire to Lincoln's Inn, London with manuscript 4 chargemark, clear bishop mark on reverse 12 / OC, 17mm.and part PLYMO / (PLYMOUTH) single line h/s on reverse, re-enforced with hinges and creases / tears.
1832 Entire Letter Tunbridge Wells to Lincoln's Inn bearing nice TUNBRIDGE WELLS undated complete circle h/s in red, receiving F d/s in red, usual folds etc.
1834 Entire Letter Oxford to Aylesbury bearing a part strike of PAID AT / OXFORD boxed strike in black on reverse, Oxford dated arc in black on reverse, 8 chargemark. Fine.
1840 2d blue plate 2 (NJ) close to good margins, used with part black AU 23 1842 town cancellation, fine and scarce, SG Spec. DS8xb.
1841 1d red-brown on mainly blued paper, small selection on album page of approx 35 imperfs plus pair on white paper, all numeral cancels with varying margins, one example grossly miscut and then cancelled neatly with 498 Manchester numeral.
1841 1d red-brown pl.138, fine used four margin example (IK), tied to wrapper addressed to Ballinasloe by two blue Tullamore '438' numeral cancels with a blue Ballinasloe cds below. Backstamped at Tullamore, Kilbeggan and Ballinasloe. SG Spec B2 (1) xb. Rare item.
1841 1d red-brown plate 10. Very fine used four margin example lettered (QI), on large part entire from Glasgow to Ballymoney beautifully cancelled by centrally struck black MC. Glasgow and Belfast backstamps. SG Spec. AS69.
1841 2d blue, plate 3 SA-TB block of four used on paper, cut into or touched at left and right, lower pair with horizontal crease, SG Spec. E1 (2).
1842 PERTH Maltese Cross cancel on Entire to Edinburgh bearing 1d red-brown (IC) stated as plate 24, complete strike with PERTH boxed datestamp on reverse, vertical filing fold (age line) with 4 good margins. Cat £1000.
1843 Entire London to Lowestoft bearing 1d red-brown (EJ) tied superb strike of No.8 in MX cancel, fine. Cat £325+.
