1871 (Feb 25) Printed circular from KINGSTON to Moneague bearing two 1d blue values each bisected from two different stamps tied by AO1 barred cancels and arrival part cds on obverse, headed CIRCULAR - The Royal Mail Steamer Seine, due yesterday, for some reason as yet unexplained to us, went on from St Thomas to Colon, instead of as usual coming direct here. / She took all the cargo with her, and only the Mails were brought to Jamaica by the Eider. / Our monthly Magazines and papers have in consequence not arrived, but we have received some of the late dates of the newspapers by post, which we forward to our subscribers. George Henderson & Co. Some minor faults and uneven along the top side of the printed circular. Authority for circulars with single bisects ceased on 1 Dec 1872. Unusual usage.
