1867 Wmk Spray of Rose 9d straw pl.4 bottom right marginal example very fine used with CHELTENHAM sock on the nose cancel with bottom imprint 15 Shillings, pulled perfs on right wing margin. SG 110.
1876 8d orange, two singles on piece tied by F36 Surbiton duplex, wrinkles at top corners, SG 156. Cat £1250.
1880-83 1s orange-brown pl.13 heavily used with NPB newspaper cancel, short SE corner. SG 163. Cat £170.
1883 2/6 lilac very fine used neat cds of EVESHAM on right hand side, well centred and sound, SG 178.
1883-84 10s ultramarine with a oval registered cancel small closed tear at top right and a few nibbled perfs SG (183).
1883-84 5s crimson used white paper with a Camborne CDS well centered with a horiz crease SG (181).
1883-84 5s rose used white paper with a light registered cancel ok centered otherwise nice SG (180).
1883-84 set of 3 used balance of auction lot 2/6 5s and 10s pale ultramarine all are well centered but quite heavily cancelled and the 2/6 and 10s have rubbing more so the 10s not too bad for filling those empty spaces SG (178,180,183).
1890 (2nd July) Jubilee Penny Postage handstamps (two different) in blue or violet on unposted 1d brown Postal stationery card for the first day of the South Kensington exhibition, few tone spots otherwise good strikes.
1891 £1 Green multiple crisp oval cancels, with slight horiz crease top right SG (212).
1902 EDVII ½d blue-green on profusely colour illustrated fold out card (both sides) tied by FS h/s, depicting Washington felling the Cherry Tree (A Few Truths) advertising card (faults) showing the truths used to promote Johnson & Jorgenson warehouses. Faults incl creasing but very attractive and unusual.
