1876 5s green nicely fine used with good cancel, Scott 54A.
1922-27 Wmk MSCA £10 black and green, handstamped SPECIMEN in violet (Samuel type K4), small tear at the right, otherwise fine mint, SG 100 s. Cat £1200.
1928-31 Three commercial covers (one torn, faults) to UK each bearing 50c grey on reverse each registered from KABERAMAIDO with accompanying etiquette's on obverse. Multitude of cds cancels on reverse incl onward to MOMBASA & SOROTI UGANDA transit cds, or JINJA registered oval. Faults.
1931 (26 Oct) First Flight Kisumu - Nairobi regd airmail cover Feeder Service to the Imperial (Africa) Airways, bearing 30c & 50c tied KISUMU cds with typed flight plan from each town and city addr to Tanga in Tanganyika.
1933 (1 Sept) Airmail cover typed Mombasa to Berlin bearing GV 50c grey and 1922 1s green tied MOMBASA d/r cds cancels and airmail etiquette obliterated with large boxed X framed in black probably underpaid so took surface mail route, mainly fine.
1935 (4 Nov) Registered airmail cover to Luxembourg bearing GV 5c, 10c & SJ 1s tied KAKAMEGA d/r cds cancels, with five further cancels and transit / arrival backstamps. Unusual destination.
1936 (16 Jun) 50c ultramarine GV registered postal stationery envelope uprated with 30c & 50c GV tied NAIVASHA CDS cancels to London. Nairobi transit on reverse.
1939 (20 Oct) 30c blue registered postal stationery envelope to Daressalaam uprated with GVI 15c tied MOROGORO cds's and regd etiquette No. 91. Arrival oval cancel, nice commercial use.
1948 (1 Dec) Royal Silver Wedding set over two covers sent locally in Nairobia, £1 scarlet has small pen ink stain at top left. SG 157/8.
1952 (1 Apr) First Day Cover for 10c, 15c, 25c, 30c & 40c pictorial defins, typed addr to Mombasa sent locally, very fine.
