FRANCE: 1917 (May) WWI Useful correspondence from Infanterie 158 Lyon to Vosges France from infantryman during the Nivelle Offensive at the Battle of Chemins Des Dames where 200,000 French soldiers were killed. Each postcard bearing a variety of FRANCAISE POSTAL 158 REGIMENT D'INFANTIERIE LYON cachets in violet, also includes other handstamps including Temporary Hospital, Commission Militare Dijon, F.P.M. LYON, Moulins Hospital, mainly 1917-18 periods, nice original lot (50+).
