Group of covers for GVI/QEII including ASANKRANGWA, GIFFARD CAMP, ABETIFI, ASIN DAMANG, NKORANZA, ACHIASI, ASAMANKES etc. Very mixed but intr and useful lot. (10).

1840 1d black (DA) used with neat strike of red MX and four margins (thins) & 2d blue with black MX (BK) with 4 margins but light crease, both in a Harrington and Byrne folder with certificate of authenticity.
1840 1d black (ED) fine used 3 large margins tied to paper with black MX and T.P. Cornhill in red, worn plate cut into along the base.
1840 1d black (EE) unplated with four good to close margins and black MX, very heavily thinned but does not detract. Showing E retouched by hand. Sound. SG 2.
1840 1d black (OD) plate 8 with good four margins and black MX, vertical closed tear at base otherwise fine.
1840 1d black (QA) plate 1b with three good to close margins and crisp red MX, touching along top left side. Showing Q double letter variety. Sound. SG 2b.
