1909 (Nov) Interesting cover Gaberone to Mafeking bearing GB ovpt ½d vermilion pair tied GABERONE B.B. cds sent on printed letter Paramount (crossed out) Chief Segoma / LETSHOLATHEBE and two large strikes on reverse, one for OFFICE OF POLICE / GABERONE and further larger RADDOZO MOGOLO / KGOSI TAWAMA / SEKGOMA LETSHOLATHEBE / KGODI, Lion and Antelope h/s in purple. Crossed out in manuscript ink pen. MAFEKING arrival b/s. Some faults but intr all the same.
Twenty GVI Covers from an original correspondence to Central News Agency in Johannesburg. Many different postmarks tying GVI 2d brown defin incl LOBATSI, SEROWE (9), PALAPYE, MAHALPYE, FRANCISTOWN, MOCHUDI, RAMOUTSA, most are slit to open out. (20).
1849-61 range of 20c blue (shades) with mainly 3-4 margins, numeral cancels incl 1849 20c (5), 1861 (4).
1864-65 40c carmine-rose pairs for two different printings incl SG 19 & SG 23. Sound used 45 numeral heavy, or part numeral lighter cancel. (4).
1915 Large printed manilla envelope with 1912 set of 11 to 5f, plus 1914 Red X values (low vals) plus 1915 Red Cross set of 3, all neatly tied LE HAVRE SPECIAL cds cancels, registered with similar etiquette. Few gentle bends (2 vertical) otherwise impressive album piece. SG 133/143, 151/2, 154/55, 157/159.

1918-22 Keyplates mint assembly incl 2s (toned gum) with broken left scroll variety (SG 51b be, cat £275), 2/6 black and red on blue, 4s black and carmine, 5s deep and carmine-red on yellow, 5s deep green and deep red on yellow. (5).
