1937 Coronation lot of FDC's, all complete sets on illustrated (7) and plain (11) all with filing holes at base, plus a fine illustrated example from Newfoundland with complete set of 11, then an unusual lot of forgeries (14) again in complete sets manufactured by a George Whitehurst with additional information on these which were recently offered for sale at £15 a cover in a Philatelic magazine. 1963-64 USS Thresher Search dive cacheted covers for first and second dive one signed by the commanding officer, plus 1967 Memorium ovptd cover. On 10th April 1963 Submarine Thresher sank in deep diving tests 220 miles off the coast of Massachusetts killing all 129 crew and shipyard personnel on board. It is believed that flooding in the engine room sank the submarine. (4 diff).
