Two cartons containing various albums and binders including 1970s-90s U/M sets in printed album, large binder full of tram tickets, FDCs loose in bundles, registered postal stationery envelopes unused for different sizes, Ramsay FDC and special event covers, 1996 TT Races Coin cover etc, heavy lot.
2005-2013 Double collection of mint & also used for most issues in springback album on leaves, extensive range of sets and miniature sheets for the period with useful face values includes self-adhesive, sheets face up to £5 each, single face values 2012 to £10 incl $5 / $5 NZ Queen's birthday M/S & single set, many hinged on margins hence U/M, colourful lot with many thematics and high cat value.
1953 B.E.A. 6d label affixed for Guernsey Town Air Letter Service label to London and second cover from Jersey sent locally, nice duo.
Modern unmounted mint collections in original brand new year books mainly still on stockpages for each year, noted 2006, 2008-2012, 2014-2017 with large amount of complete sets and face value in excess of £440+.
Isle of Harris: 1907 (10 Dec) PPC of The Scaw, sent from OBBE to Dundee with thimble cds, very late use as introduced in 1874. Few minor marks, Mackay type 46.
Jersey & Isle of Man: 1942-1997 Mint collection in a well filled Devon album neatly arranged on leaves with dozens of sets, Jersey ½d arms pair on illus 1942 FDC, 1d on plain 1941 cover, useful face value.
PPCs used in mainly EDVII era with nice range of 9 mainly different postmarks incl HARLOSH (Skye), ORPHIR (Orkney), WESTRAY (2), NORTH RONALDSHAY (Kirkwall), BUNESSAN, LERWICK, PORT BANNATYNE, TOBERMORY. Useful group. (9).
Shetland Islands: 1908 (24 Apr) PPC of Walls looking West sent from WHALSAY Shetland to Surrey. Bottom right corner damaged, but sock on the nose cancel (without code). Mackay 389.
