1932 (22 Mar) Registered airmail cover to UK bearing dated Bird of Paradise ½d, 1½d, 4d & 6d tied POST OFFICE / WAU cds cancels with additional POST OFFICE / SALAMAUA cds alongside, with red manuscript R Wau / 1672 for registration. Sent via Sydney. Very fine and pretty.
Australian Occupation: Officials 1915 German New Guinea OS surcharge 1d on 3pf, 1d on 5pf green hinged mint, minor marks, SG O1/2. Cat £135.
1941-45 Two censor covers one to Stolow (philatelic) cover to New York bearing France Libre 5c, 10c & 15c tied VILA cds with PASSED CENSOR / NEW HEBRIDES cachet in violet (good strike), then double censor cover regd from SANTO to USA bearing 20c (2) & 10c tied SANTO cds cancels. Nice duo. (2).
HARRISON & SONS Souvenir presentation card specially printed card bearing 1956 50th Anniv. 5c, 10c & 50c adhs affixed to the card showing photogravure stamps as produced by Harrison & Sons. Few light marks otherwise nice item.
1886-87 Mint range on a stock page with different papers with and without arms or dates. Noted 1d (7), 2d (11), 4d (2), 1887 1d, 2d, 4d with arms omitted. Mainly sound and seldom seen in such a range.
