1893 Columbus $5 black spacefiller, cut into and other faults re-enforced on reverse with hinges, blue crayon line but overall a nice looking spacefiller with oval d/r cancel. SG 250.
1895 Cover (opened roughly at the side) from Warwick to South Dakota bearing 2½d tied Warwick CDS underpaid due to the weight (original contents enclosed) hence NEWARK AUG 0 / K / 95 / DUE / 10 / CENTS opera glass postage due mark and boxed T / 25 in black alongside. Some cover faults but good strike of the opera postage due. Similar go for $200+ in the US.
1898 Trans-Mississippi Exposition 1c green, 2c copper red & 4c orange each unmounted mint (never hinged) with very fresh appearance, Scott 285/287 cat $475.

1941 (23 Nov) Commercial cover from the USS ARIZONA sent 14 days before the ship was bombed and sunk by the Japanese with the loss of 1102 lives. Addressed to Mr & Mrs Walter Lier, Southern Calif. Gas Co. San Bernandino. Fine.
