1840 1d black & 1841 1d red matched pair (LK) 1d black with three large to close margin example from plate 5, black MX cancel. Touching into bottom left corner. 1841 has creases.
1840 1d black (IK) superb four margin example from plate 4, black slightly oily MX cancel, fine.
1840 1d black (KJ) superb very large four margin example from plate 4, red soundly struck MX cancel, fine. Premium example.

1840 (3 Oct) Entire Ruthin to Manchester bearing large four margin 1d black ML (stated as plate 4) tied neat red Maltese Cross cancel, filing folds. SG 1.
1841 1d red-brown pl.138, fine used four margin example (IK), tied to wrapper addressed to Ballinasloe by two blue Tullamore '438' numeral cancels with a blue Ballinasloe cds below. Backstamped at Tullamore, Kilbeggan and Ballinasloe. SG Spec B2 (1) xb. Rare item.
1841 1d red-brown plate 10. Very fine used four margin example lettered (QI), on large part entire from Glasgow to Ballymoney beautifully cancelled by centrally struck black MC. Glasgow and Belfast backstamps. SG Spec. AS69.
1841 Number in Maltese Cross cancels on 1d red-brown varying margins, Numbers 2, 3, 5, 6 & 8, mostly two or three all good strikes. (5). Cat £1065.
