1930 (16 Dec) Toned first flight cover St Lucia to Br. Guiana bearing 3d, 6d & 1s tied local cds cancel sent Regd No.37 with Cayenne arrival backstamp.
1936 Mounted mint set on a Album page all nice condition (SG113/124).
1967 UNESCO 25c two marginal unmounted mint singles one with STATEHOOD - 1ST MARCH 1967 in both blue or black overprint varieties, usual mottled look and part offset on reverse. SG 228 var.
Incoming mail from a variety of different countries mainly 1940s including Martinique censored, India censored (3), New Zealand censored (2), Canada censored, USA airmail censored (2), plus ½d green wrapper to London with addr panel removed. Nice group. (12).
Useful postal history group mainly GVI periods including commercial covers to USA from Castries PASSED BY CENSOR to USA, 1944 Censor tape 7598 to NY, underpaid GV cover to Cayman Brac via Jamaica with p.due tied, OPENED BY CENSOR tapes (4), OPENED BY CENSOR etc, intr group, usual faults. (13).
1926 Government envelope sent locally bearing GOUVERNMENT / PP / SAINT - PIERRE - MIQUELON / SAINT - PIERRE handstamp in black and dotted 12th May cds cancel with hexagonal 14th May arrival d/s alongside. Very fine.
