British Bechuanaland QV Registered large format postal stationery envelope, POSTAGE FOUR PENCE vermilion and handstamped SPECIMEN overprinted on UK envelope in black, folded and paper adherence, nice addition to any Bechuanaland colln.
Protectorate: 1888 4d on 4d lilac and black fine used neat duplex type cancel, few blunt perfs bottom left otherwise nice colour, expertised on reverse. SG 44.
1887 5f lilac rubber stamped with 3f50 in black mint part original gum, reverse has hinge remains and thinning where hinges removed, centre NE and short corner, not a bad example of this scarce stamp, SG 6 Cat £1600.
1941 (Mar) Double censored cover to Switzerland bearing 4f50 blue airs pair tied MASISI cds cancel and GOMA or ABA backstamps and CONGO BELGE censor sealing label plus UK OPENED BY EXAMINER 20 sealing label, bilingual Censorship Dep h/s in black.
