GREAT BRITAIN - ISLE OF MAN

Internee Camp Mail: WWI 1917 5th Oct Russian 3k red Postal Stationery card sent from an internment camp in Russia with as yet unidentified Russian boxed camp No 22 in violet to KNOCKALOE INTERMENT CAMP in the IOM. Other markings are apparent but are so lightly struck they are unreadable. Interesting reading with comment beetween the two internees about their family business around Europe and discussing the conditions of their various interments.Well handled and a little grubby and vertical crease but only to be expected under the circumstances it was kept and written in ENGLISH. Very interesting item and worth further research

Estimate £ 60.00
