Philippines: 1943 FREE PHILIPPINES GUERRILLA POSTAL SERVICE; 2centavos blue private label authorised by General MacArthur for use in Mindanao during the Pacific War, approx 12,500 produced and printed in Australia, then smuggled to the Philippines via USS Narwhal submarine, this label is affixed to an unused envelope (vertical fold) and served more as a morale booster than practical postal use. After stocks were destroyed maybe only 500 exist.
