The card conveying greetings from the expedition and signed on the front by Filchner bears Falkland Islands 1904-12 1d tied SOUTH GEORGIA 6 DEC 1911 cds, and red expedition vignette at left tied by four line violet 'Polarschiff Deutschland / Sud Georgien / Grytviken / 30 November 1911 dated cachet.
