1861-64 Wmk Star 6d brown p.14¼ unusual well executed forgery with star wmk, on paper with brownish gum, small patches on value tablet, most interesting addition, SG 23 Cat £3000 as genuine.

1864 P.12½ 2d Grey-green in a superb bottom marginal PAIR only showing frame line of watermark from the edge neatly fine used with barred cancels lightly struck, scarce multiple without main watermark. SG 50 var.

1885 P.14 Postage & Revenue surcharges six values all mounted mint / unused with toned gum and hinge remains including 5c on 8c orange (cat £95), 5c on 4c rose (2, cat £54), 5c on 16c pale violet (cat £190), 10c on 24c brown-purple, 15c on 16c orange-yellow mint (cat £60), all poor gum but mainly nice appearance, SG 178/180. Cat £410.

1922 R1.46 booklet partly exploded in creased poor condition containing 15 of the 24 6c violet defins, stuck or adhering to glassine interleaving, uncatalogued as black on white cover with Colombo Jewelry Store advert on reverse, extremely scarce and unlisted in this combination, closest is SG SB6a/b Cat from £4000 as black on orange cover. Rare!
