LOT1868 GREAT BRITAIN - MIXED P. HISTORY

1940 Exhibition Chalon Portrait, Perkins Bacon stamp centenary exhibition labels. Mint although some gum creases which can be seen from front. Black print has tiny bottom right corner fold. Nice items.

LOT1869 GREAT BRITAIN - MIXED P. HISTORY

SLOGAN Cancels, a lifetimes work of 100s laid out and written up on pages in three cartons of binders and loose, starts from GV period early items through to QEII 1970s issues, interesting history and write up including periods and dies used for each slogan, many complete covers and envelopes, plus some useful literature, huge lot for further expansion.

Admiralty: 1903 3d purple on yellow fine used part CDS cancels of Portsmouth, thinned corner but does not detract, SG O106 Cat £160.

Army: 1896-1901 1d lilac mounted mint showing OFFICIAI FOR OFFICIAL variety, few blunt perfs and hinge remains otherwise sound, SG O43a Cat £240.

LOT1872 GREAT BRITAIN - OFFICIALS

Army Official: 1902 6d pale dull purple in a superb mint / unmounted mint block of 4. Hinge remains on top two stamps and small perf tone, bottom two unmounted mint with two horizontal creases, scarce multiple, SG O50, block of 4 Cat £950 as mint.
