RAILWAY LETTER STAMPS: Extensive accumulation of local railway services and special events on dozens of covers from 1960s to modern plus huge amount of labels, some in blocks, for different locations including North Yorkshire Moors Railway, imperf blocks, surcharged, setenant blocks and strips, Prepaid Parcel tickets unused with counterfoils, Talyllyn Railway (approx 125 covers STC £1200+), Nene Valley Railway Worth Valley incl panes of 8 STC up to £55 each and a good range of 1980s-1990s panes, Llechwedd Slate Caverns Railway underground post panes, Rheidol Railway, Romney Hythe & Dymchurch light Railway etc, 100s, four binders in a box and loose.

1840-1951 Collection in a Davo printed album with better throughout including 1840 1d black (3 margin red MX), 1840 2d blue (3 margins black MX), 1855 to 1s, 1862 9d bistre, 1865 to 1s, 1867 Wmk MX 5s rose plate 1 (faded Hull CDS), Wmk Anchor 5s rose pl.4 sound used good strike of Gracechurch Registered oval (faults, Cat £3800), 1867 9d straw, 2s blue, 1876 8d orange (Cat £350), 1880-83 to 6d incl nice CDS copies, 1918 to 10s, few more modern defins etc. Huge cat value.

1840-1989 A useful used collection in a well filled SG loose-leaf printed album, QV incl 1840 1d black (2, both spacefillers), line engraved basic values, surface printed with many different very mixed condition to 2s blue, 1883 2/6 (2), 5s rose, 1880 Indigo set, 1887 to 1s, EDVII to 5s, GV most basic issues to 5s, 1934 Re-engraved set 3 used, then a huge range of GV/QEII used for many different printings, phosphors, watermark varieties etc, huge cat value.

1881-1983 Mint and unmounted mint Collection in a Davo luxury printed album & slipcase with better throughout including 1900 Jubilee ten values to both 1s (Cat £340), EDVII 11 vals to 10d, 1912 to 1s, 1924 to 1s, 1924/5 Wembley sets, 1934 Re-engraved 5s (Cat £175), 1948 RSW, 1951 set to £1, hereon mainly complete for QEII just needs Graphite's and Castles, includes most better phosphor sets etc. Good cat value & clean lot ideal for expansion, albums are expensive new.

1929-1968 SG Commemorative springback printed album with box with a almost complete collection very fine unmounted mint, noted 1929 PUC low vals, 1935 SJ, 1948 RSW, 1960s all the good phosphor sets included, fresh, Good cat value, just needs few key stamps to complete.

1953-1991 Printed DAVO album with a quite well filled mainstream collection mint and used early QEII from Wildings, 1960s commems (no good phosphors), and solid from 1970s-1991 ideal for expansion, 100s.

A selection of approx. two hundred postal machine cancel pieces and covers. Includes 1955 Fly BEA to Switzerland, 1960 Men of the Church slogan and 1968 Guardian Assurance.
