1940's Seven On active service covers includes Christmas Air Letter 1941 Gernab Feldpost cover with Swastika and 1942 Received from HM Ships.

1941-49 Cover from The Foreign Service of the United States of America Tunisia and similar cover from Consulate Brazil. Plus three O.H.M.S. covers from official departments in Canada.

LOT29 POSTAL HISTORY

1942 Cover with GB 2d and Tangier 1d with Gibraltar 11 Feb 42 cancel addressed to New York USA with General Post Office found open and officially secured stickers plus opened by examiner 1046. Letter inside undamaged from The Foreign Service of the United States of America, Tangier Morocco January 30 1942.

1960's-80's Approx. thirty covers posted off shore in various world locations. Includes Argentina cover addressed to Base General Belgrano and Base General San Martin, 1986 Germany Antarctic Winter Expedition and 1963 St. Helena voyage of MV Bornholm.

1970's-80's Twenty-five covers posted off shore in various world locations. Includes Germany MV Icebird maiden voyage, 1979 Germany Antarctic Expedition, 1984 SCAR research cover and 1984 Alfred Wegener Institute cover

1979-82 Eleven all world covers relating to the Transglobe Expedition. Includes GB cover carried on board MV Benjamin Bowring with HRH The Prince of Wales in attendance.

A selection of twenty-seven world-wide Anti-Semitic postcards from 1904 until 1950's. A mixture of posted and unused. Includes 1941 postcard with Hitler head from Austria. Very interesting social history although would be termed offensive today.

A selection twenty unused postcards air letters and registered letter from various countries. Includes German occupation of Belgium 5c, Canada 1c Queen Victoria and Fiji ½d overprint.

Thirteen all world pre-stamp covers and entires. Includes 1819 invoice from Switzerland to Lyon, 1819 entire from Nice to Italy and 1857 cover Lyon to Geneva. Some interesting cancels and marks

1933 Greece stamps on Graff Zeppelin Rome - Friedrichshafen on typed cover with purple catchet Ordinary post insufficient for zeppelin mail. Stamps on front and reverse.

LOT40 POSTAL HISTORY - ZEPPELIN MAIL

1934 Air mail from Brazil with green Condor Zeppelin Lufthansa cachet on types cover to England. various cancels on reverse includes Stuttgart cds. Note vertical fold down centre.
