A selection of approx. sixty five covers with machine cancels from the 1930's to the 1990's. Includes 1961 Billy Graham at Maine Road Stadium slogan, 1940 ½d Eat Pork Pies and 1963 0/3 from the BBC.

LOT2082 GREAT BRITAIN - MIXED P. HISTORY

A selection of thirty-two various covers including Victoria and King George VI with triangular postmarks. Includes illustrated KEVII with M188, QV ½d vermilion with LS and 1950 London stamp expo with KGVI 575.

Ten GB covers with Paquebot and posted at sea cancels. Includes 1938 British India Line with Victoria Hong Kong cancel, KGV 1920 from Port Said with letter enclosed. Also included New Zealand anniversary of HMS Bounty.

Fine used group including Govt. Parcels 1888 9d dull purple and blue rubber CDS used (2, cat £240), 1½d, 6d, 2d & 1d all used (cat £183), etc, (20).

Govt Parcels: 1883 9d green key stamp heavy but sound used MACCLESFIELD rubber CDS, good colour not yet turned and slight smudges so not the prettiest example, SG O63 cat £1000.
